Job Description
Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing the delivery of IT projects in the application and infrastructure areas. The PM will also be instrumental in building and maintaining effective relationships with their business counterparts for their corresponding projects. The PM will need to manage multiple projects simultaneously utilizing the PMO processes and tools. Needs to be proficient in delivering projects using both traditional and agile methodologies.
+ Responsible for all aspects of project planning, tracking and communication.
+ Responsible for managing project scope and perform effective change control throughout the project.
+ Responsible for managing project risks and issues with effective mitigation plans and timely communication and escalations.
+ Responsible for planning and managing project capital and expense budget.
+ Responsible for resource planning, allocation and management throughout the lifecycle of the project.
+ Responsible for managing stakeholder expectations ? collaborate, negotiate and communicate critical project decisions with project stakeholders.
+ Comprehend the project delivery and operations needs and collaborate with the project delivery lead and operations lead as needed.
+ Comprehend the project organizational change management needs and collaborate with the project change management lead as needed.
+ Comprehend the project governance needs and execute the PMO Governance framework in collaboration with the project governing body.
+ Facilitate and lead communication, negotiation, and decision making within the team and external stakeholders including external vendors.
+ Communicate project status, risks and issues to project stakeholders in a timely manner.
+ Follows established PMO processes, principles and practices including the usage of project planning and project tracking tools.
+ Educate and mentor IT personnel in other departments in the areas of project management and governance.
+ Proven experience working with senior level executives.
+ Proven experience in developing and building relationships with IT and Business stakeholders and external vendors.
+ Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with shifting priorities and multiple constraints.
+ Excellent problem solver with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have excellent skills in: planning, risk/issue management, scope management, resource management and cost management.
+ Proficient with MS-Project and/or other scheduling tools.
+ PMP/CSM/Other Project Management certification is preferred.
+ Experience with CA Clarity and/or other PPM tools is a big plus.
+ Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in project management or information technology.
Physical Requirements/Other
+ Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
