Clinique Consultant Cosmetics Commissions Sales - Part Time

We are seeking a passionate individual to become one of our Beauty Advisors representing Clinique. If you are a self-professed beauty junkie, obsessed over mascara formulas, eye shadow pigment or the latest lipstick shade, we want to hear from you! If you can match a foundation colour on sight, know your creams from your powders and love to experiment with the latest makeup looks, Lord & Taylor has a place for you in its esteemed beauty department.
As a Clinique Beauty Advisor you will be representing the first dermatologist-created, prestige cosmetic brand. Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly, professional and timely manner
Provide honest advice and educate the customers regarding products
Execute the appropriate selling behaviors consistently to achieve personal and team results
Build your client base through establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, follow-up on satisfaction of purchases and notifying customers of upcoming events/promotions
Team with Counter Managers to plan and implement special events and daily "at counter" events
Leverage Product Knowledge as a differentiating factor in the service experience
Understand the competitive market and be aware of the trends and new products
Assist in the execution of special events, seasonal gift with purchase and holiday programs
Open new Lord & Taylor Credit accounts as a means of building customer loyalty
Ensure counter is adequately stocked, cleaned and properly merchandised.
Wear vendor supplied uniforms and maintain Lord & Taylor dress code standards.
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers, coworkers and vendors
Demonstrate flexibility to meet the staffing needs of the business
Ability to problem solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Results oriented with an ambitious drive to succeed in a commission-based environment
Passionate and knowledgeable of cosmetics trends
Fast-learner with strong organizational skills
Full flexibility with schedule (including evenings and weekends)
Job Requirements:
Selling experience is preferred and helpful.
Engaging personality.
Strong phone skills/etiquette

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
