Manager, Applications Delivery - Finance

Job Description
Position Summary
The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading all IT activity related to application delivery, including data and application architecture, solution design, development, and support of Constellation's corporate financial applications. Your ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and understand the needs of our business partners will drive the success of the team and IT. Your role in delivering technology solutions and business process improvements will enhance key Finance related business processes at Constellation Brands.
Responsibilities
Facilitates cross-functional design sessions to define complex, multi-system solutions; responsible for quality of proposed solutions and adherence to internal practices and standards.
Accountable for availability and support of all financial application environments (Development, Test, QA, and Production) and facilitates the resolution of application issues.
Leads teams of developers and/or functional resources to ensure the quality and on-time completion of tasks.
Serves as the escalation contact for any Production outages and facilitates resolution with appropriate support and infrastructure staff.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of enterprise application and data landscape.
Ensures compliance to standards, including ITIL processes, project governance framework, audit controls, testing, and release management.
Ensures documentation is well organized, current, and accessible.
Develops delivery estimates and coordinates with IT teams and business partners to prioritize and schedule delivery of project tasks and change requests.
Ensures active communications between all stakeholders in the Business and IT
Increases working knowledge of Finance applications and associated data.

Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting business processes
Previous experience with large scale, global ERP applications required
Proficiency in JDE Finance modules is a plus
Experience with SAAS applications and integrations to JDE is a plus
Proficiency with standard IT practices related to business application development, implementation, and support
Experience with agile development practices is a plus
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, understands audience and can speak in business and technical terms
Capacity to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees company-wide
This role requires some work outside of normal business hours.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
