Manager, Applications Delivery - MDA

Job Description
Position Summary
The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading all IT activity related to the delivery of Mergers, Divestitures, & Acquisition (MD&A) initiatives, including solution design, development, and implementation of integration and carve-out projects for Constellation ERP and Corporate applications. The Delivery Manager will participate, with other members of the MD&A project team, to define deliverables and project plans, and will oversee technology project team members during all project phases. This position is accountable to adhere to enterprise architecture standards, and to utilize his/her technical experience to develop and deliver appropriate and cost effective solutions while adhering to quality guidelines and design principles.
Responsibilities
IT project leadership of MD&A projects, driving and expecting collaboration from team members to a common solution design and implementation.
Facilitate cross-functional design sessions to define complex, multi-system solutions; responsible for quality of proposed solutions and adherence to internal practices and standards.
Develops delivery estimates and coordinates with IT teams and business partners to prioritize and schedule delivery of project tasks and change requests.
Working with project managers to develop, define, and manage MD&A project scope and communicating scope change for the project.
Manages teams of developers and/or functional resources to ensure the quality and on-time completion of tasks.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of enterprise application and data landscape.
Ensures compliance to standards, project governance framework, audit controls, testing, and release management.
Ensures documentation is well organized, current and accessible.
Ensures active communications between all stakeholders in the Business and IT

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and to achieve results that meet or exceed internal and/or external customer expectations.
Possesses a collaborative work style that enables work to get done with and through other people and teams.
Ability to manage diverse personalities, engaging and interfacing with them to achieve desired results.
Adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment.
Possess professional communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate and influence executive business partners and IT management.
Demonstrate a detailed understanding and a high level of competence related to project, risk, and change management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience with large scale, global ERP applications required
Proficiency in software design and analysis specific to JD Edwards ERP system a plus
Programming and/or Systems Analysis background including design and management of interface applications
Proficiency with standard IT practices related to business application development, implementation, and support
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, understands audience and can speak in business and technical terms
Capacity to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees company-wide
This role requires some work outside of normal business hours.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
