ER Associates is recruiting for an Inside Technical Sales & Support Representative that will respond to inbound customer calls with detailed attention to customer requirements and needs, resulting in new and repeat sales.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Inside Technical Sales & Support Representative should have a passion for providing solutions, solving customer's problems and delivering exceptional service. You will exhibit your technical ability by meeting customer requirements in a sales environment. Quality, precision and timeliness are necessary in all aspects of the position as well as being goal oriented and results driven.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle inbound customer calls generating new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
Ask compelling questions to determine customer requirements and expectations leading to recommendations of specific products and solutions
Proactively recommend products or solutions to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Contact customers following up on sales or quotes to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
Accurately process customer transactions such as orders & quote requests
Review orders to ensure quality- adhere to company procedures
Obtain accurate information from vendors and distributors relating to product, shipment dates and expected date of delivery
Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
Setup and maintain customer information with database entry
Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software
Follow company policies and procedures
Present a professional image at all times to all customers and partners
Resolve customer issues
Perform other duties as assigned
Operational Responsibilities include:
Computer modifications and assembly
Assistance with large orders or when work load requires an extra set of hands
Results Expected:
New sales revenue in existing and new accounts.
Accurate and timely customer response relative to new sales and follow up with existing customers.
High customer satisfaction and repeat business.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/QUALITIES:
One to three years of technical sales experience
Quickbooks experience is a plus
Exceptional service skills
Exceptional listening skills
Highly energetic and self-starter
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Decision making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Excellent telephone sales personality skills
Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Internet savvy
Willingness to follow process
Prominent organization and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
