Working knowledge of office technology, procedures ,and equipment as applied to library clerical workWorking knowledge of library filing and shelving rulesAbility to sit, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and maneuver general office materials and other objects as needed.
Responsibilities Shall include but are not limited to the following Attend meetings as neededFollow directives (written, oral, electronic)Regular use of school emailGeneral Library Clerk assignmentsArranges and files materials according to library filing rulesPerforms routine searches of and updates to computer recordsPerforms routine circulation, reserve, and overdue functionsAnswers the telephone and takes messagesOther assigned duties and/or responsibilities which may be deemed appropriate by the Library Media SpecialistMaintain Data Security as applicable.
Maintain confidentiality with staff, students, and family information.

Minimum starting salary $15.
67 per hour, as per the contract between Victor Central Schools and the CSEA Unit Recommended Skills Communication Confidentiality Filing Multitasking Problem Solving Administration Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
